Thinking of Alan's family and friends at this sad time.
Alan was a wonderful, caring and kind man with a fantastic sense of humour. He always had time for people and did so much to help others. He will be greatly missed by so many.

Alan, it was a privilege to have been your manager over this last year, I am truly saddened by your passing and will miss you deeply, as will the whole service. I have such fond memories of you that I will cherish forever. Rest in Peace. xxx

Alan was such a lovely man. He touched so many lives and helped so many people, he will be sorely missed by everyone he worked with. It is so difficult to think of him as gone and my thoughts are with his family at this incredibly sad time. Rest in peace, Alan, you will be fondly remembered.

Alan, we met whilst both working at Nottingham city. You were one of the most caring, hard working social workers you could ask for!

At times when you thought I was stressed, you would walk past my desk and just put a Twix or a dairy milk down, those kind gestures and your kind eyes and warmth I will never forget.

I remember when you had moved accommodation and were struggling to the tv in the communal area to work. I gave you my iPad and you never stopped thanking me.

You were a very special person and undoubtedly would have made this impression on so many people Alan. I am so so sorry and my heart goes out to your loved ones. You will be greatly missed Alan xxxxxx

Shocked and very sad to hear of Alan's passing along with his Dad's. Great memories of Alan with Patrician Celtic. The time he put into the club you could see he had a passion for the club, great character and was a genuine nice guy. Had many a good chat with him before & after games and also during or goalkeeping training. Thoughts are with Andy and all the family during this time. Alan will always be remembered!! RiP ❤️

We are shocked and deeply saddened to hear of Alan passing. He was a great character and will be remembered fondly in our stories of growing up on Virginia Drive.

I was so shocked to hear of the passing of Alan, followed shortly by his dad. I taught Alan many years ago in Patrician College and remember him very fondly. He was such a bubbly and joyful lad. And when I met him later with Patrician Celtic, it was clear he was still the same guy . My deepest sympathy and condolences to all the family in this tragic loss of Alan and his father Anthony ...May they rest in peace .

I was so sad to hear about the passing of both Alan and his father Anthony. I lived with Alan and Loretta &
Darren in Dublin for a few years in the house off Thomas Street and I have fond memories of our times together. Sending you all my deepest sympathy during this difficult time. ❤️
