He has been such a lovely pen pal & friend over the last few years, even though we unfortunately never met in person. Alan’s fantastic outlook, humour & positivity have been such a strength to me & I know he will be sadly missed by all. Rest in peace Alan❤️

Our condolences to Irene, Yvonne, and Paul and their families on the news of Alan’s ( aka Chooch) leaving this world too early. Another part of the aul Laytown has left us. We’re smaller without him. I’ll miss our chats together as Alan would bring Ruby the Alsatian on walks here and there. May he rest in peace. Heaven will be even more colourful because of Alan.It’ll be more grey here - sure Alan would joke we’d be used to that. Memories of him will bring the sunshine back.

Dear Alan thank you for being a good friend to my brother Terry, you both fought the battle with cancer so brave both of you warriors .as you said Alan from the day you met Terry at the south infirmary hospital cork for treatment in 2022 you both had a love for horses and Terry with all his betting, your friendships grew strong you were always known to me as Terry's mate Alan ,thank you for all your messages Alan after Terry passed away,give Terry a big hug from me, rest peacefully now Alan, Condolences to Irene and all Alan's family.
