Alan was one in a million, a gentleman who always had a twinkle in his eye.

Whenever my dad and I came over he looked after us so well and we used to go to Blue Bar and have an amazing meal. We all chatted so easily, he really was a wonderful man.

Sincere condolences to Alan’s family . I only met Alan once in person but regularly spoke to him on the phone. His calls brightened our day in the office as he always made us smile. Alan is now in a better place, with Ashling, finally enjoying the peace and happiness he so richly deserves. Those who love and miss him can take some comfort in the knowledge time is a good healer and we all have the good times to remember, Alans good nature , his quick Dublin wit, and his overpowering smile and laughter. He will always be in our memories and our hearts.
