To Als family I’m so sorry for your loss. I got to know Al when we worked together in the belgard Many years ago now. Every weekend morning it would be me and him emptying bottle skips together and having a laugh. He totally helped me get through those early mornings when all i wanted to do was go back to bed. Whenever I bumped into Al in the street for years after he would always go out of his way to say hello to me. He was a lovely guy with a brilliant laugh. Its clear to see on here that he will be very missed by all of his many friends and family. Nice knowing you Al.

I think you might have been surprised just how many people have been brought together in the past week, Al. You gave me one of my first gigs. You were a great facilitator. The last time we bumped into each other you were buzzing that we were making a go of our own creative venture. That generous spirit is my lasting memory. What a beautiful quality.
