Dear Jennifer, Danielle and Stephen and all of Alans nearest and dearest - my prayers and condolences for the loss of Alan. I was so saddened by the news of his passing.
I was a colleague of Alan for 6 years in SoftCo. He was an absolute gentle man (intentionally separating that word). Intelligent, kind, so funny and always radiated good humour. I especially enjoyed a weekend in Paris with Alan and a few other colleagues to celebrate a ‘project milestone’ all thanks to a good customer who treated us back then. We all had such a fun time with Alan in Paris for those couple of days.
Stephen – I had the pleasure to meet you briefly once when you were with Alan in Sandyford years back; I was only noticed because I was wearing a Microsoft top with a bright Xbox logo on it that I believe either you or Alan noticed 😊 It was always a pleasure to say hi to Alan – always so relaxed and cheerful.
I pray for you all to help you through this very difficult time.
So sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. May he rest in eternal peace.
Paul & Sheila, our deepest sympthany on the untimely passing of your dear brother Alan. You are in our thoughts and prayers at this very sad time.
Love Des and Helen.

So sorry to hear this news. Alan was a real Gent with a mighty sense of humor. We had some Great times in school over the years.
Condolences to all the family.
My heartfelt condolences Jennifer, Danielle and Stephen on the loss of your dad. I babysat for you starting when Jennifer was less a year old, in the lovely cottage in Greystones. I then looked after you and Danielle every Wednesday and Saturday for many years. Every Wednesday, your lovely mum would go to yoga, and every Saturday your parents had a date night. I was delighted when they moved to the house on Church Lane as I lived in Applewood Heights so it was an easy stroll down and home. When Stephen came along, I continued to babysit for a short while before I left Ireland.

I have two clear memories of your parents. One when your mum was pregnant with Danielle. They left for their date night from the cottage but came back shortly after. Your mum had come back to show me the most comfortable chair to sit in, giggling and saying I might think she was a bit mad. Now, with three kids of my own, I understand what pregnancy, comfort is very important. I remember thinking that your mum was so kind.

Another memory is from a night out at the Leopardstown Inn in the late 90's, where I met your dad on a work night out. He was in great form and full of chat. I was used to your mum doing the talking in the house as she was the more outgoing one.

My thoughts are with you all during this incredibly tough time.
Deepest sympathy to Paul and the Kilduff family

I worked with Alan at Escher for several years. He was intelligent, kind, and one of the best bosses I ever had. I'm from Ukraine, and when the war started, Alan was the first person to offer help and invite me and my family to Ireland. Although we didn’t come, I know he supported many others from Ukraine who were in need.

My sincere condolences to his family and friends.
May Alan rest in peace.

Alan, Alan, Alan I’m devastated and heartbroken. As kids we mucked around, as teenagers we convinced the brothers to buy the first “Computer”, while they asked us, “Do you think these things will catch on?”
As young adults we drove, built disco lights directly from the first computers & built a rather good full size snooker table together in the “Travelers Rest”
In the late 80’s I took you in to see this rather old grand building beside the Dail, which needed babysitting, & so East Coast Software had its first Irish base
Later you married the lovely Adrienne, cruelly taken so early & had three wonderful children. Why do I say what people know?
Well, we spent so much of our youth together, that as our lives took different routes, like true friends we would always enjoy a quick catch up as if it were only yesterday, although in reality it was every 5 years! I’m so glad we had a great meet up two years ago when I flew over, but I’m so sorry I wasn’t there for you recently & indeed today (I did try, honest! Ask Ray)
You were an extremely talented, unique individual with a quirky taste in music & I, as your friend will sorely miss you
My sincere condolences to Paul and Sheila (sorry we used to annoy you with the music!), as well as Jen, Danielle and Stephen. They say time heals, but … for now my thoughts & prayers are with you all
RIP Alan, as I comfort myself with the thought that you’ll have a chance to be with Adrienne again in a better place, your friend always, DJ
Jen and family, sincere condolences to you at this sad time.
Our deepest condolences Alan’s children; Jen, Danielle, Stephen and to all who knew and loved Alan. May he rest in peace.
Dear Jen , Danielle and Stevie, we are deeply sorry for the loss of your dearest father, Alan. He was a wonderful man, kind, full of humour, and a true gentleman. He took such pride in all of you, and it was evident in the love and joy he shared of all your achievements. He will be greatly missed, and we hope you find comfort in the memories you have. Please know during this incredibly difficult time that you have our heartfelt love and unwavering support. You are all in our thoughts. May Alan rest in peace.
Sincere condolences to Jen Danielle and Stephen on the death of your Dad Alan - he is now reunited with your beautiful Mum Adrienne and may they both rest in eternal peace
So smart, great company, humorous and a pool shark. All the qualities you'd want in a true friend. Exceptional talented and years ahead vision in the software field. Such a pleasure to have studied and worked with him.

So saddened to hear the news.

To Jen, Danielle and Stephen and Paul and Sheila - can't imagine the loss you're feeling. Sincere condolences to all the family
Sincere condolences to the Kilduff family - especially to Alan's beloved children. I was Alans colleague and friend from his time in SoftCo. I was deeply saddened to hear the news of his passing. We had not spoken in a long time but I remember some great conversations and games of pool where Alan's intelligence, integrity, family orientation and sense of humour would invariably feature. Apologies I am not able to attend the funeral as I am down west on Thursday. Ar a dheis Dé go raibh a anam uasal.
Heartfelt condolences. Wishing his entire family for strength during this difficult time. May his soul rest in peace.
