Ann, John, Andrew Keith and David, our deepest sympathies on the passing of Alan. He was a super person who packed a huge amount into a very busy life.
I thoroughly enjoyed my time crewing with him in his Enterprise, although he did say to me in recent years that I was too tall to be a useful crew (Peter aged 14).
Thank you Ann for all the parties that you hosted for the sailing bunch. They were great fun.

I have known Alan to say hello & chat to since Our family moved here 33 years ago. His Smile alone would make my day! In recent years, when I would be Walking down to Work in the morning, I would see Alan on the far side of the road walking up to Our Hilltop Shop, we would Say a big hello to One another as we spotted each other from across the road.
