I sat across the room from Alan during the first year of Harvard Business School. It was a tense time, we were under so much pressure, but Alan always had a twinkle in his eye that told me that everything would be fine.

I'll always remember Alan's cheerful stories and our class football matches. Rest in peace, dear friend.

Please accept our deepest condolences on the passing of Alan.
When Alan graduated from Harvard he decided to continue east and explore a bit of the east coast and meet some of his Canadian cousins. Nathalie, Alan and Anna stayed with us in New Brunswick for a few days and we had a lot of fun. Later when laura was born we met again in Ireland.
Alan was a warm, fun , interesting person as well as a devoted husband, father, son and brother.
He will be missed.
