Sincere sympathies to Alan’s family at this sad time. He was a big part of our Malahide Chess Club community in the 1970s, when I was a child. He was always supportive and kind. As kids we loved how he took off Fozzy Bear’s voice so well - the Muppets were big back then - and Alan’s impressions of them made us laugh. He left us with happy memories of a warm & kind man - much loved - simply because he made sure to make time for us & support us. Stopping by Hill Drive was always a welcome part of our Chess Club outings. Nice legacy. Rest in peace Fozzy 👍😜❤️
