When I came over from the UK to work with Alan and the team, he made me feel so welcome. I was always amazed when we went for lunch at the amount of people he would be saying hello to. He always had time to stop and say hello and ask how you were doing. It is a measure of the man he was, well liked by all.
I loved the chats about how good (or bad) LFC were doing and all the things that could be fixed.

One of the most gifted human beings I’ve ever met, you gave me my start in life after finishing school, and I will be forever grateful. Your journey may have ended, but your story continues.
