Such a lovely person will be missed so very much But he will always be in our hearts and that lovely smile and laugh will live on. He’s up there now with my mum and his other brothers and sisters until we meet again uncle Alan God bless. Our prayers to Marie and the children..Love always Jean Paul and Ian x

A POEM for my Uncle Alan

My uncle Alan, what can I say,
The best i met, in every way x
A gentleman, there is no doubt,
You asked for help, he’d sort it out x
A strong man to, walked tall and proud, and always happy, and never sad x
He’s sense of humour, it was top draw, he’d tell ya things, that would drop your jaw x
A handsome man, and always smart, a brilliant mind, and a great big heart x
He loved he’s Marie, he’s children too, just shows to all, he was brand new x
So to all he’s family, don’t you cry, because now me uncle’s, up in the sky x
He’s with my dad, my mother too, can you imagine, the motley crew x
So don’t be worried, and never fear, he’s always with you, and always near x
He’s in your minds, and in your hearts, and he’s love for you, will never part x
I have he’s name, that’s Alan Spate, and I feel blessed, because he was great x
So uncle Alan, we love you so, and you’ll be missed, but that you know x
So these few words, to say the least, I’ve told my story, and said my piece x
