Ah what gentleman he was. I had the pleasure of sharing his company on the train a few years back. He talked about his love for animals and then challenged the couple who sat opposite him to an arm wrestle.
What a character and a legend! He'll be greatly missed!

So saddened to hear of Albert’s passing , I enjoyed Albert in Athy and the many chats we had he was a true, caring and kind person and he had a great love for others showing great interest in there lives may he get the best seat in heaven RIP Albert

I was sad to hear of Albert’s passing. We had many chats and he loved nothing more than to talk about the goings on in the country. He will be remembered fondly. May he rest in peace.
