I was sorry to hear of Alberto's passing, taken too early. He was a lovely character and a key player on a trophy-winning Maro's team my dad (Tom) managed in the late 70s or early 80s. My condolences to the Andreucetti family, may Alberto rest in peace.

Remembering Alberto with such fondness and respect.So many good memories especially Christmas morning family get togethers and watching the st. Patricks day parade from the window in Aungier Street.

someone I will never forget for taking me under his wing is St Marys RFC. A real legend in rugby circles. May he rest in peace.

Alberto was a classmate, of irrepressible good humour. When we once mentioned the 'cúpla focal' as Gaeilge to him - he came out with a mirthful Italian 'cúpla focal'! A powerful sportsman, he was on the winning 1963 Leinster Junior Rugby Cup team. Alberto was as large as life and will be greatly missed. Requiem aeternam dona eo, Domine.

So sorry to hear of Berties passing .I remember when we were children going to dinner and parties with my grandmother Sabatina to Angier st all the Andreucetti clan were there great sing songs happy childhood memories. Shirley, so sorry for your loss . I heard you were very close. My sister passed 10 years ago and I still play her favourite music when I need to connect with her. Memories are a beautiful thing and he did have a formidable first name , I have no doubt he was a great guy just like his beautiful sis.

Our deepest condolences to Alberto’s family at this sad time. One of the original ‘technical’ hookers in club rugby. He was a worthy opponent and a true sportsman on and off the field.
Always up for a laugh, La and Paul set up the “Rugby Special” every weekend in their premises in Wexford Street. The place was a buzz with rugby lads from far and wide in the best Chipper in Dublin. Heady days indeed, and memorable also, with Paul and La, two of the best lads Mary’s have produced. May Alberto rest in the greatest peace.
