So sorry to hear of Alex's passing , he had the wine merchants beside us in upper rathmines road , my father maurice and my mum rita were very fond of him , a lovely man .

I worked for Alex for 20 years he was a great boss and a proper gent I hope you find that vineyard in the sky
My deepest sympathy to the Find later family. I knew Alex when I was in Trinity in the 1960's. I remember the Boxing Day gatherings well.

Sincere sympathy to the Findlater family. My late father, Desmond Holden, worked for Findlater and was hugely loyal to Alex when he had to sadly cease trading the long standing business and move into the wine business. Dad had great respect for Alex throughout his working life and regarded him as an absolute gentleman. May he rest in peace.
