Alex Helps

I had the pleasure of teaching Alex when he was in 6th class. What I remember about him the most was how loyal and caring he was to his friends. He knew his own mind and had a keen sense of justice. He also had a great sense of humour and I have vivid memories of him in fits of laughter with friends! Those friends must be heartbroken.
To his family, I simply can't imagine what you are going through. Please accept my deepest condolences at the loss of such a wonderful young man who achieved so much in his short life. RIP Alex

My nephew had the absolute pleasure of knowing Alex Helps. The day he found out that Alex had passed he rang me to chat about him. I can only imagine the loss you’re feeling right now. I only knew Alex through stories my nephew told after his passing and just knowing the name from him mentioning Alex so often during his life, and I can tell he was one hell of a kid. We were both in stitches, with him telling story after story of Alex's ability to make the whole room laugh, no matter how serious of an event. Jo, Graham and Adam, I am so sorry for your loss, it is a loss like no other. I pray for you all every night, I hope God will grant you some comfort and protect Alex in his kingdom. May he rest in peace.

I am sending all my love to Alex’s family, friends and girlfriend right now. May they be guided through this horrible time. Alex went to the same school as me, and I knew him to see him. He seemed like a really chill guy, the type you cross paths with, and look on in curiosity. He was such a nice person. He will live on forever in our hearts, and not a day goes by where I don’t think of him

Heartbroken for all who loved and are grieving the tragic loss of Alex

Alex was a good friend to me all throughout primary school and though we drifted to different circles of friends in secondary school I would still always enjoy talking to him and even hanging out with him when I would see him in Celbridge, I will miss him deeply.
