My sympathies to all the Volkov Family at this very sad time. As a work colleague, Alex was such a quiet gentleman with a simply vast intelligence, his contributions to the technology world have been so influential. His dedication to and love of his Family was palpable. His loss will be sorely felt by so many. A long life, well lived, may he rest in peace.

My sincere condolences on the passing of Alex. He was such a talented engineer and always generous with his time to explain his work. I learnt so much from him over the years. May he now RIP.
