I’ve only recently heard of the passing of Alfie. We have many fond memories of his kindness over the years. A true gentleman. May he rest in peace.

Deepest condolences to the Kelly family on the recent passing of dear Alfie.Fond memories of Alfie’s vegetable and ice cream rounds.He was a gentleman and a lovely neighbour.

So sad to learn of the passing of Alfie. I have such fond memories of Alfie delivering vegetables to my mother on the Howth Rd in Raheny in the 60's. He was always smiling and so courteous to all. May he rest in peace.

My childhood was made better having Alfie call into Georgian Hamlet in Baldoyle, always had a smile, Kindest ice cream man, no one has come close to his kind soul. Thinking of his whole family. I will continue to remember him fondly

Alfie was a huge part of our childhood in Kilbarrack. He was one of a few friendly, kind adults around. He always had a smile. I remembering being excited to show him my Communion dress, aged 6 and he gave me 50p. A true gentleman. Rest in Peace x
