Dear Colette, Coleen & Caitriona & all the family & friends. I'm so sad to hear of Alice's death rip. I had a chat with her after Joe died rip. I'm sorry I didn't know in time to attend her funeral. We had very happy days in Peamount when we had great times nursing in St Kierans ward. Alice was a wonderful nurse & a great friend & colleague. Very happy memories of Alice and Joe and the girls in Kill.

Alice and my mother, Lauri, met when they worked together in Peamount Hospital in the 1970s, and it was a friendship that lasted right up until my mother’s death a few years ago.

I remember both couples going to dances at Lumville House, playing cards, and our drives to Kill in the week before Christmas to drop off Christmas cakes - small traditions that meant so much.
