I was lucky enough to get to know both Alice and Mick over the years through my friendship with Sheila (always Tier 1, Pru!) and I can honestly say it was a pleasure and a privilege to spend time with them. Alice in particular radiated warmth, wisdom and wicked mischief in equal measure. She embodied charm and was forever interested and interesting. My deep condolences to all the Cunninghams and extended family on the loss of such a bright star las Alice.

Nuala was crying her heart out and in bounced funny chatty Alice and sat down beside her and thus began a beautiful friendship that lasted decades. May she rest in peace

Sincerest sympathy to Alice s family on the loss of your unique mother. Alice was a keen member of our book club and enlivened every meeting with chat and fun. I remember her hilarious account of a birthday trip to Paris with her girls and being serenaded by the waiters singing opera arias to her in a restaurant. We were privileged to call her “friend”. To all our dear cousins, what can you say about Alice? She was a joy, to be around. You knew when Alice came to visit in Lispopple that you were going to have a great night. So sorry about Alice. Always lovely to see her with Mick .She with, Uncle Dan and Fan, were one of our first visitors to us here .We were a bit short of space so put Uncle Dan in the living room with a clock that chimed every fifteen minutes! He still gave Eugene good advice on the farming.
