I had the privilege of beginning as a colleague of Alice along with Maura we became the best of friends.
Her wisdom and kindness come to me often. Thanks for all the advice Alice.
Today as I watched her funeral from France I was delighted to hear the many stories retold that I was lucky enough to hear from her of her life. For her grandchildren and great grandchildren especially I hope they heard today the amazing woman their Nanny was. Her kindness in Crumlin was legendary to all the many parents and staff she came in contact with through her years there.
Her glamour was something to behold especially on our Christmas nights out. I loved to see her beautiful dresses and shoes. She loved life and I bet in heaven your Dad is hearing that beautiful Kilkenny accent with all the news. Fly high Alice Curran my beautiful friend.
