I have so many dear memories of Alice from childhood, from Alice kindly letting the kids on the road play on her doorstep and in her garden, to Alice giving sweets and icecreams to all of the kids on the road, no one was ever left out. She was the best neighbour and friend to all the road, kind to the core and always smiling. Thank you for everything, rest in peace dear Alice,you will be very much missed, love from "little Aoife Ryan" no.95, as she still called me, x

Sincere sympathy to Geraldine and Kenneth and children on the death of Alice. We knew Alice for over forty years, she was a lovely friendly and happy person and so witty and jovial. It was always a pleasure to meet her either in Carmel's over a cup of tea or on the path to the shop. She was part of the fabric of Firhouse and will be missed.
