Alice was a dear friend for more than 50 years. We’ll always have the fond memories of our families getting together for so many great times in Nashua, New Hampshire.

We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of one of the beloved mothers from our old Berkeley Street neighborhood. As kids growing up, your home was one of those special places where you always felt welcomed. She had a warmth about her that made you feel safe, a kindness that was second nature, and a sense of humor with her Irish accent that made you smile.

Even as we all grew up and moved away from the neighborhood, we stayed in touch and shared each other's life stories along the way. Lynn and I feel blessed to have known her in our lives.

Our hearts and prays go out to all of your families, and to all of us who were lucky enough to have grown up under the warmth of her presence.

To John, James and Shelagh and all the extended family, my heartfelt sympathies to you all. I am so sorry for your loss.💔
My memories of your mum, go back to when she used to come home during the summer months, and was a regular visitor to Kennys Bookshop. She would breeze in full of the joys and put a smile on everyone’s face!😊
She loved her books and many is the time that I packed parcels 📚 to send to her in the states and it was always lovely to put a face to the receiver of the parcel.
We have kept up some contact through Facebook over the years.
She is at rest now,🙏 but she will be missed.💜

Deepest condolences to Shelagh and the Griffin-Rotta family on Alice's passing. She was always full of positivity when I would speak to her when she called the office, if you were having a bad day then you could guarantee if Alice called, you would be told to cheer up and make the most of your day. May she RIP.

Growing up, our family lived next door to the Griffin family, Alice and I were about the same age, we socialized in the same circle growing up, and our families were good friends and neighbors. Fr. Griffin, Alice’s uncle, married my wife and I in Limerick. Alice was always so full of life and joy.
