My sincere condolences to the McCarthy family. I have fond memories of Alice, when I was a kid. My grandmother was Maura Allen, so I grew up hearing all about her. She was always so nice to myself and my brother Stephen. Loved hearing about her playing tennis, and taking about the trouble herself and my nan got into as kids. She has been reunited with her best friend. May she rest in peace.
