When I found out her name was Alice, I immediately thought of that well-known song 'Living Next Door to Alice' and told her, and she laughed. We had some lovely chats from time to time, whether it was when she was out walking or shopping in Supervalue. We always had a tiny chat. She was such a kind and gentle lady.
