Alice Quinn

I was only thinking of Alice on Thurs when I was at James Hosp, and i thought I must give you a call to see how you are, unfortunately I had not known until this evening that the lovely, bubbly Alice we all knew had departed to the angels above. It was a heavy heart I say goodbye to Alice and with sadness offer my condolences to Betty her mum, Noel her brother, Emma her daughter and her hubby and all the extended family. May Alice RIP my dear. X

Emma, we are so shocked and saddened to hear about your beautiful mam Alice. Alice was a gentle soul and a true angel, she helped us through a very difficult time back when our own mam passed, which we will be forever grateful for, she was selfless & showed her strength and love to others so much. We are so sorry to learn this time has come to you and your extended family. Thinking of you all at this extemely sad and difficult time. All our Love Leonie, Channine and John Dale xxx

In the blink of an eye the years passed and yet memories linger on of Dr Marten boots, leather jackets, which we wore with pride, while strumming our air guitars dancing to Black Sabbath, singing, laughing and enjoying our splendid youth without a care in the world. Time passed. Time lost to reconnect. Yet another reminder to carpe diem. May the family you leave behind and especially Emma may you embrace your life each day with love and happiness. Happiness is key.

My sincere condolences to Dave, Emma and the Quinn and Hayes families on your immense loss. Alice was truly a brilliant, intelligent, kind and compassionate Nurse. I have known Alice for many years and worked with her on the wards. Everyone loved Alice , her work colleagues, the patients, care staff and Medical staff.
Alice’s warm personality and charm was evident wherever she worked. She was so diligent in her work, enthusiastic and had a wealth of knowledge and experience and was generous in sharing this with her colleagues and students alike.
Alice was like a bright light on our ward with good humour and a great sense of fun and would always make time for a chat .
Alice has left us beautiful memories of our time together on the ward that will be forever etched in our hearts. We will miss you Alice . Rest in Peace Our Dear friend and colleague.

So sorry to hear such sad news. I have very fond memories of Alice on P1. She was such an amazing nurse and person. Deepest condolences.

Sincere condolences to Emma,Dave and all of Alices family. I was privileged and honoured to work with Alice as a newly qualified nurse she took me under her wing and taught me everything for 2 years. I could write a book on my funny Alice stories. She was the kindest,funniest,most loving person. I have the fondest memories of her and absolutely adored and idolised her. I wouldnt be who i am today without her.She was what every nurse should aspire to be. There will never be anyone like Alice.

I was so sorry to hear of the death of Alice. I did a week of nights with Alice when we were both students Christmas week of 1990. Although Alice was only six months ahead of me in training she was about six years ahead of me in ability. Even then she was a truly diligent nurse and I learned a lot from her that week and I always looked forward to bumping into her afterwards.
