So sorry to hear of the passing of Alice, I grew up in and out of her mother's house. Always had a great chat with Alice and her brother Simon. RIP Alice you were such a lady 🙏

We are so saddened to learn of Alice's death, and offer our warm condolences to all who were close to her, and cared for her so beautifully. Alice was a gem of a person in every way, a pleasure and privilege to know. She had such a wonderful mix of alert awareness, learned knowledge and gentility of soul. All this coupled with a committed 'joie-de-vivre' belying her dainty, yet very determined physical presence.
We relished so much her vibrant participation in our weekly Wednesday music-sessions and group-chats in St.Cathages over many years, which Alice engaged with enthusiasm and energy. Elvis was her particular favourite request among many which she wholeheartedly joined in.
We regularly called her our 'Encyclopedicus Hibernicus', as she was so knowledgeable about so many details of topics we were discussing, and always willing to contribute to same.
Rest in the warmest of peaceful comfort, Alice.
