As you know Siobhan, I had been keeping in touch with you regarding Alison’s treatment and always heartened to hear she was holding her own and so it came as a big shock to hear Alison had quite suddenly pass away in the end. However, there is comfort in the thought for all of you that dear Alison has now gone from the pain and suffering of this world to her Heavenly Home which, no doubt, she has truly, truly earned and richly deserves - Ar dheis De go raibh a anam dilis. We will remember her and all of you in our thoughts and prayers at this very sad and lonely time and in the days ahead. Fergus.
