I am really shocked and very sad about the death of Alison. I never had the chance to meet Alison in person, but even though we only connected virtually, we had a very personal connection. There was always some time to discuss about the family, what’s happening in the private life and also have a laugh together, even in stressful phases. I got to know Alison as such a caring, empathetic, and warm-hearted person and we all appreciated partnering with her so much.

Dear Amelia and Mason,

Although we never met, I know a lot about you, as your lovely mother Alison was talking about you so much at work. I was sitting right beside her in our previous office, we shared many personal and professional stories and anecdotes, laughed together, had numerous tea breaks and lunches together, shared biscuits, talked in French sometimes... More than a colleague, Alison was a lovely friend, who would always listen when something was wrong, who would be happy to do all she could to help and do favours to others, workwise or personally, always with a smile. I remember that Alison drove me to see the nurse and have my wrist checked out when I slipped on the ice outside of work one Winter, and she wouldn't leave me there on my own until she was sure everything was fine. Words cannot even express how terribly saddened I am by this tragic loss, and my heart goes out to you both, as well as to all of Alison's friends and family.
