I was sorry to hear of Allan's passing. He was one of life's great characters and always amused the retirement group in ESB with his stories.

Sincere condolences to Allen's family. I have great memories hillwalking with him in Wicklow with other colleagues from ESB in the early 80's. He always shortened the walk by regailing us with stories and escapades on his many travels and projects.

Sorry to hear about Allen’s death. I have great memories of sailing trips with him to France and various places in Wales.

I have fond memories of this gentle soul, who welcomed and helped me as a novice sailor with generosity and good humour.

Im very sorry to hear of the passing of Allen. I knew him as a colleague in ESB and also as a member of Bray Sailing Club. He was always a gentleman and fun to be with.

My sincere condolences to Louise, Fiona and the Graham family at this sad time. I knew Allen since the early '70's as a work colleague and later when he became manager of Telecommunications in ESB. He had a great sense of humour, which will not be forgotten. He will be sadly missed.

Allen was a colleague and a good friend in our ESB days and also more recently when Florence and himself lived in Kildare. His sense of humour and positive attitude always ensured a good working environment. Our deepest sympathies to his daughters Louise and Fiona and their families. He was really proud of them. He bore his illness with deep dignity and enjoyed the company of his family who he adored.

Allen was a great character and so sorry to hear of his passing. I was lucky to have known him.

Dear Fiona , Louise and families , I am so sad to hear of the death of your lovely dad . His laughter and presence was a part of our growing up at our home in Clonkeen road when he and your mum would be meeting up with our mum and dad . The weekends and times away together the four of them had with ease and laughs were testament to their friendship and the they all had together and so valued by our parents .
Your Dad was so kind to Mum after our dad died and called to see her even though it must have been hard for him without his friend there . May your dad find your Mum to be with again m . Sending you lots of love and hoping his memories and the legacy of how kindly thought of he was by everyone bring you some comfort with time xx

My sincere condolences to Allen’s family on their very sad loss. Things were never dull in Telecoms when Allen was involved and he always brought his sharp intellect to every issue as well as his unique sense of humour - it was a pleasure to work with him.

So sad to hear of Allen’s passing and my sincere sympathy to the Graham family. I worked with Allen in ESB and, more recently, had many an interesting chat with him at our retiree lunches in Head Office. May he rest in peace.

We have very fond memories of Allen around the sailing club in Bray and on the many sailing trips we shared. I am very grateful that I got to spend some time with him again recently and I will remember him very fondly - he was a true gentleman.

We will all miss Allen in our own way. He was such a lovely kind man.
I always loved having him over for dinner, he was always so appreciative.
We had many fun times too( be it playing trivial pursuit or horrible history) with Emily.
and may I add that he didn’t like losing ( but that was rare) as he was indeed very
knowledgeable.

So sorry to hear this bad news. Glad to have known him since my interview for ESB. I was also glad he was driving into HO for lunch with us, retirees, many times last year. I am not surprised he thought of others even after he passed. The world will be duller without him. I'm sorry for his family and friends.
