Alphonsus Corless

We were so sorry to hear of Alphonsus’s passing on our return from our holidays. He is sadly missed by us all in our house and by all his neighbours here in the Nurseries, which won’t be the same without him now. We remember all the good times here in the Nurseries with him, all the celebrations together over the years, all the chats, as a fellow healthcare professional all the discussions I had with him about his top tips for health and long life. It was an honour, a privilege and a joy to know him, he was so inspiring too. We are thinking of Alphonsus’s children now, his wonderful grandchildren and all his family, at this very sad time for them.

It was with sadness that I learnt of the passing on of Al. We thank God for his life.It was a life well lived. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. May his soul rest in eternal peace.

My sincere condolences to Catherine and all the family. He was certainly part of my childhood in Carlow and I remember him as very kind in his starched white coat.

He is not only going to be missed by the family but people like us who happens to come across him,he was such a gentle and God fearing man. I worked with Mr, Corless in the late seventies and I could never explain how kind he was to me and also his dear wife Mrs Corless.
