So sad to hear of the tragic and sudden passing of Amanda. I remember her bubbly personality as a child when I knew her well during visits to my grandparents’ (her aunt and uncle’s) house in Co. Galway. It is so lovely to know she continued to make such a wonderful impression throughout her impactful, though far too short, life.

I got to know her in secondary school and nights out with her were legendary, always in top form with her gorgeous laugh. She introduced me to a particular lipstick which I still wear to this day. Although we lost touch, I would always remember the good times we shared. Your loss is immense and I pray that your fond, treasured memories of her will sustain you over the coming days and weeks as you navigate this new world without her.

I am shocked and saddened to hear of Amanda's passing...another friend from our youth gone too soon. We were in Taylor's Hill together and while we weren't close friends, we were all friendly. Our year was like a band of brothers, except in navy school uniforms(!), and I know everyone in the class of 1987 will mourn her loss.
