Our former GP, he was always so supportive when the children were small and we had a track worn to him with all their childhood ailments! In recent times, we used meet walking around Newcastle and he always made time for a chat. May he rest in peace.

We met only a few weeks ago out walking on the White Strand beach here in Renvyle, he was always such a pleasure to talk to, we always enjoyed the chat about Connemara ponies and he was so genuinely delighted about our participation at this years show.

So sorry to hear the sad news …Eoin was the doctor on call 34 years ago when our baby was sick …I will never forget his kindness and empathy..met him a few times over all those years since and he was always a pleasure to meet.
A lovely man who’s conversations were always so interesting, such a gentleman may he rest in peace.

My sincere condolences to the O Dochartaigh family. Eoin was my father's G.P. and he gave my father great care in his final days. Visiting him at home in his final week to ensure he was comfortable. Eoin was such a kind and gentle man. I had the pleasure to meet him on occasion on Glassilaun beach and he would always make time for a short chat. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.
