Chaith sé roinnt mhaith ama in éindigh le mo mhuintir in Amharc Árann, Indreabhán i gConamara. Bhí árd mheas ag mo mhama agus mo dheaide , Peig & Cóilín, air. Shíl siad gurb é an duine ba chneasta , naofa é a casadh orthu. Bhain muid uilig an-sásamh as na scéalta ón Aifric.....agus na pictiúirí ó bhaile agus i gcéin. Is minic a théann muid siar ar bhóithre na smaointe....pictiúir do Fionnbarra &Cóilín ag ól tae ar an bportach &rl. Tá pictiúir ann duit fhéin, Áine Risteárd,do fhear céile, agus do mháthair, Eileen, Go ndéana Dia grásta orthu. Is iomaí port a chas tú fhéin & Is iomaí 'steip' a dhamhsa Risteárd in Amharc Aránn! Is saibhhir iad na cuimhní sin.D'fhéach mé ar aifreann na sochraide. Tá an ceart agat a bheith bródúil as do chlann ar an omós a thug siad do Fhionnbarra.
