Ricordo un adolescente che costruiva città impossibili da una tastiera e volava con la fantasia in mondi ancora sconosciuti, forse ritrovati nella verde Irlanda che ha scelto come casa. Siamo sconvolti da questa notizia. I tuoi sorrisi e la costante determinazione nell’affrontare situazioni di vita e di lavoro danno oggi la forza alla tua splendida famiglia di continuare il loro cammino. Come l’hanno data a me al lavoro ogni giorno, un grande mentor e trainer. Ciao Andrea ci mancherai troppo.

Ho letto la notizia in questa bella mattina di sole. Sono rimasta senza fiato, senza parole, inghiottita dalla vertigine. Non ho parole sensate da lasciare, di fronte al mistero della morte resta solo la vertigine. Riposa in pace e un forte abbraccio a chi ancora continua la strada qui.

Non sono riuscito a scrivere qualcosa di sensato fino ad ora, ma devo comunque provare. Se ne va un amico che dopo tanti anni avevo ritrovato, risvegliando in me un fuoco spento da anni, Andrea mi hai lasciato una pesante eredità, l'hai lasciata a tutti noi, continuare il cammino senza di te. Non sarà facile, sento ancora le tue parole che risuonano nella mia mente di quando abbiamo giocato l'ultima volta e maledico ogni partita che ho fatto saltare per i miei impegni, poteva essere un momento in più vissuto insieme. A Lara, Melinda, Geordie e Oliver ricordo che qui c'è un'altra famiglia che vuole loro un mondo di bene e che non vede l'ora (se verrà) di abbracciarli tutti forte. A mamma Paola, Sara, Enrico, Rocco e Marco un grosso abbraccio. Andrea ha lasciato il corpo ma Amos la sua anima resta in tutti noi.

Siamo vicini al vostro immenso dolore. Di Andrea ricorderemo il sorriso luminoso, che aveva quando era vicino a voi. Le nostre preghiere continueranno incessanti affinché il Signore vi sostenga e vi abbracci con amore infinito. Vi stringiamo forte.

My sincere condolences to Lara, Geordie, Melinda and Oliver. Such a tragic loss.

It was a pleasure to have worked with Andrea for nearly 10 years, and he will be dearly missed, in a lot of ways. He was a great collegue, a witty counterpart in a debate, and never holding back a laugh and joke. He was one of the purest people I've come across in my work life who stood up for what he believed in.
