RIP Andy, the best player I was ever involved with in my years with Rialto FC. You were a credit to the Club, your team mates, your Family and the football community. Your name is up there with the Rialto FC legends, but more than that, as a person, you light up every crowd you were part of with your never ending passion for fun, devilment, and craic. You'll be sorely missed by your footballing peers over the years, but also the general Rialto community. May you rest in peace.

Thinking of the Hudson family, Jodie and the kids during this sad time. My favourite memories of Andy were the days when we were young and carefree back in the teenage years. He had the ability to make anyone laugh while trying to be funny. Great sense of humour and always greeted with a cheeky smile. Rest in peace pal ❤️

Thinking of the Hudson Family & Andy's children at this sad time. I had the pleasure of playing ball with Andy in our Greenfort United days. We played a charity game a couple of years back that Andy played in, fond memories. Heaven has gained a new number 11. Rest in peace Smilie!

Where do you start. I have known Andy since he was in short trousers. Andy could have made a living from football. Far more with less talent became millionaires. Like so many like him. One of the ingredients to be successful in sport is ? You need to be lucky. Not only were we blessed with him as a footballer. His commitment with conviction to the cause of Rialto Football Club left no stone unturned. His proudest moment for me was when his son, Luke got to play alongside him. The only advice he gave him was. "Don't be calling me da". For the last 30 years we have the " legends of a decade ". He would have been 1 of only 2 that only featured in all 3. Not only have we lost a true warrior, we have all lost a wonderful friend. Fly high brother, lots of love, Paddy.
