Julie I am so sorry to hear of Andy’s death and my sincere sympathies go to you and Julian. All the tributes above refer to Andy being a gentleman and this is true but my memories go back to a time when Andy was courting my pretty blonde friend who lived at the bottom of our road, back to the days of our youth and the blossoming love of Andy and Julie, Andy WAS a gentleman, he was also what was known in those days as ‘a fine thing’ and he had a car, all very exotic and enviable to those of us who had to get the 42 bus into town to meet our dates.! Happy days and happy memories.

He always had a calm head and was the 'go to' person in a crisis. He was so unassuming, quiet spoken and always a Gentleman. May Andy Rest in Peace.
