We shared a few summers hanging out in Clontarf, a gang of us being teenagers. I remember you as a warm, kind and lovely guy.
Unbeknown to me we also lived in Sydney as adults for many years,

To my dear friend Andrew, who introduced me to the gym and fantasy football. I appreciate the time we spent together and will miss our communication immensely. I'm not sure what happened on the night mate but I hope you went peacefully. A little part of me dies whenever I lose a loved one. Rest in peace my good friend.

Andrew, when we met for lunch last month, you were looking forward to summer, resting over Christmas, thinking about another holiday in Thailand next year. Still hard to believe you won’t get to do those things, and that we won’t have lunch and talk rubbish again. You were my gig companion, my Fantasy Football competitor, my friend. You will be missed so much by all you leave behind, but I’ll always think of you when I hear the Cure, drink a Riesling with a bit of kerosene, or watch a Man U game. Sleep well.

Absolutely heartbroken by the loss of such a beautiful soul. He was one of the kindest, funniest, and most genuine people you could ever meet, and he meant so much to all of us. We were so lucky to spend such invaluable time with him over the summer — memories we will cherish forever. He was more than a friend, he was family, and he will be missed beyond words by everyone who knew and loved him.
