Andrew Lyle

Andy will live-on through all the lives he touched with his kindness and genuine care.

It was my privilege to call him a friend and colleague for many years here in Medicall. His door was always open, and his smile always at the ready. His delight was evident in sharing stories about the times he spent with his family - most especially his niece & nephew!

I can only hope that he has now found the peace that he hugely deserves as he is reunited with his best pal, Dioge🙏🏻

I have only just learned of Andy’s passing, and I am so sorry. I dealt with Andy in Medicall for many years. What a gentleman he was.

Andrew was such a lovely fellow. I know he was a great comfort to my elderly mum (his next door neighbour) in her hour of need regarding her son; my brother. Such a shock; such a loss. RIP dearest Andrew.

Heartfelt condolences to Josephine and the Lyle family on the passing of your lovey Andrew. I spent many evenings up in Springfield with Andrew when we were in the John's Ambulance together. What fun and craic we had going to the Concerts. He was an expert in his area, brilliant mentor. I met him a while back and we were talking and laughing about the good times together, I think he was trying to recruit me back into the ambulance. So sad to hear of such a caring person gone from this world. Rest in Peace Andrew, you were the best.

Sincere condolences to Andy’s family and his Medicall Family. Andy was a genuine person. I enjoyed regularly engaging with Andy on ambulance issues . Andy kept me on my toes despite being a compeditor as he knew what he was doing and was an actual business threat ! That’s a very big compliment. He had the magical balance of being genuine, caring about patients and staff and promoting education. I had to buy a training school because of him ! I got to work closely with Andy during Covid and it was a pleasure. I enjoyed our regular chats and will miss him. Andy used send me a Medicall mug and pen’s from time to time such was his sense of humour.
