I am so sorry to hear this sad news, may he RIP ,I remember Andrew with fond memories from my childhood , his family were friends who lived up the road from us in Mallow. He was always great fun. I used to hear about how much he loved Cork from my mother who was a great friend of his mother Pat, I am so happy he brought such joy to people while he was here on this earth. My condolences to Pat , Sandra , Roisín and Madeleine and all his friends.

Andrew has left an indelible mark on all of us with his actions, his words and his incredible smile, that always made one feel most welcome.
Many moons ago when we all frequented Sir Henry's and the Donkeys Ears, as soon as I would see Andrew, who was impossible to miss, I would feel safe and I knew I had a friend with me that would have my back in what were, sometimes really weird moments.

I've been fortunate, the times I have come home from London, that I met up with Andrew, though sadly I missed getting home often enough and not obviously recently.

Andrew is the best example I have ever known, of a true Irish / (Cork bah) Gentleman, and I will miss Andrew as so many, many others will.

I knew Andrew well in the '90s sharing a house with him near the Lough for a time. He was witty, intelligent, kind and funny. A lovely guy and I'm deeply saddened to hear of his sudden passing.
