Ciarán and Angela, my deepest sympathies on Aindrias’s passing. What a wonderful man who was so kind to all of us as neighbours’ children back in the 1970s. Inspirational. Always challenged us intellectually on the school run. A thinker who taught us to think. I will always remember his patient comment as he waited for about a hundred children to move along down the burrow lane so he could get through with the car: “There they go, the parents of tomorrow.” Ar dheis Dé go bhfuil a anam dílis.
