My deepest sympathies to you Bernice, Maureen and Michael and all of the O’Shaughnessy family. I’ve heard how close a family you are and hopefully this and your memories of the wonderful guy Andrias was will give you continued comfort as time goes by.

I knew Andrias from his time working in IKEA Ballymun. I will echo the sentiments many have already said in their messages here by saying what a funny, caring guy Andrias was. I admired the way he could command a room with his sense of humour and fun but still having the ability to be professional and get the job done at the same time. A great example is how confidently he presented at the annual X-factor events we held at the Christmas breakfasts. I can still hear his laugh that would so often be heard across the open office. Personally he was a great support during some of the projects I worked on, always made time for me and helped to find solutions to any problems as well as giving me the encouragement I needed. I was only talking with a colleague the day before his passing at how affable a guy he was and how I knew his career in IKEA had no bounds. He has left a mark on so many people, it is such a huge loss to us all that he is gone, but what he achieved in his work and life has made a lasting impact. All I can say is thank you Andrias, may you rest in peace

There are some people who you meet in life, who leave a lasting impression. And that is Andrias. A selfless, inspiring and kind man who always took the time for people. And always brought the smiles. Whilst working with him in Ikea Bristol, he offered support and an ear over a brew many times and I'll never forget them. Such a great loss, and deepest condolences to his lovely family, who he always spoke so highly of.

Andrias was absolutely one-of-a-kind: although we only worked together briefly, he was absolutely the guy you called. He added so much to the lives of everybody he met, and through them to countless others who will never know what Andrias did for them. He added so many jigsaw pieces to this world. A true inspiration, a loving family-man, and hilarious craic all mixed in together. Much missed.
