Ann, James and Christopher, our saddest condolences, we’ve really fond memories of Andy and the big welcome he always gave Victor and the boys when we’d be visiting home. My childhood memories of growing up in Ambervale include so many with Andy; Italia 90 soccer matches on the green at half time, summertime rounders, Andy walking over and back to his work at lunchtime, I especially remember how sad we all were when his cat Ginger climbed into the engine of a red van and he had lay Ginger to rest out in the middle of the field…
Andy you’ve left an indelible impression on all Ambervillian’s lives…thank you!

Always had time for a chat over the wall and to ask about the kids or discuss the GAA. You couldn't ask for a better man as your neighbour. You will be missed Andy. I am so sorry for the Loss of an absolute legend. I always looked out for Andy as I drove to Springfield and somehow I would often see him out walking the dogs and I always got a huge wave.
