Andy KIERAN

Sincere sympathies to Marie, Stephanie, John, Andrea and families and Andy’s brother and Sisters. It was with great shock and sadness that I learned of the death of Andy. A thorough and sincere gentleman and a great family man. A great human being. I remember Andy when he first started work in TCL in the mid sixties and Andy never changed always helpful, mannerly, and above all very hephful to one and all. I have very fond memories of my time working with Andy all down the years.

My prayers are with you all. May Andy rest in peace.

Dear Marie, Andrea, Stephanie, John and all of the Kieran family; it was a great privilege to get to know Andy through my work in SFH. I will remember his lovely warm nature and kind words for everyone he met. He had a brilliant memory for names and faces, always making sure to thank the volunteers and all of the staff personally, making sure everyone felt seen and their work recognised. His love for all of you shone through in every conversation we had. Ar dheis de go raibh a hanam dilis.

Andy was a gentleman I got to know him as I walked my dog pass his house every night we would have a little chat he always had a kind word and a smile Rest In Peace Andy you deserve it 🙏

Andy and I worked at the Philips campus in Clonskeagh. We had shared interests in golf and horse racing.
Both of us were often advised that our golf swings needed to be much slower.
Both of us would have preferred our horses to be much quicker.

Andy was the first to welcome us to the road when we moved in almost 20 years ago with a wholesome handshake. Always had a big interest in how the kids were getting on in their various sports, and told us about his times playing for Louth and as a cross country champion in his youth.
We will all miss him passing by the house.
