A very sad time for both our families with the passing of Angela and our dear Dad Willie within a day of each other. Angela introduced Willie and Brid in the early 60's when Willie and Paddy were in digs together as young Gardaí. We have some lovely photos of their young carefree days in Cork city. Deepest sympathy to Anne, Kate, Brendan, Fiona, and Aoife on the huge loss of your mum . I had the pleasure of knowing Angela for many years. She was a great storyteller, and no matter the occasion we would always end up laughing . Angela attended our 60th celebration of the branch in December as she was a very active member for many years. I will miss these occasions now, but most of all I'll remember her beautiful singing. RIP Angela.

Deepest sympathy to all Angela’s family, an outstanding lady, she adjudicated three generations of our family in Réadóirí, Scór and at the Fleadhanna, last summer she judged our granddaughter in singing at the Fleadh in Macroom. She was always so pleasant and encouraging with a marvellous sense of humour, we will miss her greatly.
