So very sad to hear of the passing of my good friend Angela - with whom I shared many happy times in Bantry. My sincere sympathy goes to all her family - she will be very much missed by all who knew her. Rest in Peace. xx

Fond memories of Angela as a lector in Goleen Parish Church.
Before Mass she would check that the Lectionary was open at the correct place and that the microphone was switched on and adjusted to the correct height.
When proclaiming God's Word, Angela did so loud and clear pronouncing each word distinctly whilst making eye contact with the congregation. She was gifted with a voice that would make you 'sit up and listen'.
