Dear Jane, Kevin and extended family,
We send you our heartfelt condolences at this sad time. Angela will be greatly missed in Dunmore, Kilkenny and beyond. I remember her lovely smile and listening ear, her kind generosity and the little hats, cardigans and jumpers she knitted for preemie babies and toddlers. My suitcase was often lined with them on return to Beirut where they were gladly received by a Sister of the Good Shepherd to give to young families in need.
She gathered the local singers to form Dunmore choir and adorned the altar and church with beautiful flowers from her garden, blessing us all in so many ways.

May Angela rest in eternal peace.

Angela & I were lifetime friends. She was a very popular hairdresser in John St. for years. We helped each other out in the community:
looking after the church,singing in the choir & the I.C.A.In fact Angela was the instigator of the ICA in Dunmore. Many nights of good craic,chats & laughs were had in the hall.
Angela aka "The Queen of Dunmore" will be sadly missed.

Sincere sympathy to Jane and the wider Mc Evoy family. Angela was a great member of the Dunmore community. I have lovely, fun filled memories growing up in Dunmore of the choir, the after Mass discussions over the cuppa on Sundays, the walks in Jenkinstown and of course the swimming in the Dinan. She was a gifted flower arranger, active ICA member, sketch composer and comic, who took to the stage in John's Hall. We were entertained at home by so many of the rehearsals! A woman who gave freely of her time to so many causes. May her lovely laugh ring loudly in heaven.
