Angie and I worked together in the Fern’s Diocesan Youth Service in the 80’s. I have very clear memories of her joining the team there. It was a first job for most of us and Angie was so young but so capable, so efficient and brilliant at administration. She had a lightness of touch and a real sense of fun as well. Nothing was too much trouble for her, she was a great colleague.
We had lost touch but I did occasionally get news of her from friends in Wexford and I was really sad to hear about her death and offer my sincere sympathies to Michael, Marie, John and her wider family.
May she rest in peace.
