Ann Baker

We were very sad to hear of Ann’s passing, she was a wonderful neighbour and grew to be a very fond friend over our years living next door. She was very thoughtful, encouraging and kind, always there to lend an ear when needed. She was the epitome of a classy lady, always elegant and dignified. We will miss her greatly. Sincere sympathies to all the Baker family.

I was much saddened to hear of Ann’s death. My sympathy to and my thoughts for Ann’s family.

I knew Ann from her days in Montreal, she was s true professional, calm and organised, always gracious and kind. She was a wonderful ambassador for Aer Lingus.
She moved to Europe and continued to be the best. Good that she ended up in Shannon, close to her beloved native place, “ The Mills”
She was both popular and respected, she was fun and enjoyed life and people. A very elegant and stylish lady, she leaves behind a lovely legacy. You are at Peace Ann, you lived a good life.🌻

Ann was a true, loyal friend since I first met her in NY in 1971 and then later we worked together in YUL from 1973. I used to refer to her as my 'older sister' such was her care and friendship to me over so many years. We last met 18 months ago for dinner at Bunratty Manor but many telephone calls since. All the wonderful condolences here to Ann and her family say truly what a lovely lady she was in so many ways. Thanks for sharing your friendship and keep a place in Heaven in the 'preferred lounge' where we can meet again if I get the 'right boarding pass'. Rest in peace, my dear friend Ann.

She was the kindest most caring and most uncomplaining person I have ever known and her death will leave a big hole in my life and indeed in the lives of all those who knew her. I first met Ann in late 1979 in Montreal. I was part of the crew that was operating the last EI flight Chicago,Montreal,Shannon,Dublin on 707s. Throughout subsequent years I had the pleasure of meeting Ann at various European out stations and finally at Shannon. It was always a pleasure fo meet her smiling face throughout the network. She was always very professional in her work and a great ambassador for Aer Lingus.

It is with deep sadness my husband & I have learned of Ann's passing RIP. We extended our deepest sympathy to all her family.
Reading ex colleagues comments they show what a truly lovely & great person she was.
I had the honour of working with Ann in Mil.
I remember one of our passengers getting stranded in there with little money.
Ann looked after them, and even put them up for the night.
This is but one example.
That was Ann, her kindness and thoughfull had no limits.

My deepest sympathy to the Baker family following Ann’s death. I remember Ann from Montreal, Toronto, Europe and Shannon. I brought my mother to Boston for Christmas some years ago and when we got to Shannon Ann gave her a seat in first class.
She was such a big part of Aer Lingus and was so well regarded by AL staff and passengers.

Sending our deepest condolences to all of Anns family. We worked with Ann in Snn and she always spoke of her family. One of my fondest memories was getting flowers from my then boyfriend now husband when he returned from the states. I would leave them behind the reservations counter and she would ask me “ are you going to put them in water”? I would reply they will be fine! She would head off and find sone form of a bucket or basin to put them in to make sure they were ok. Her own home was testimony to that with her beautiful flowers and baskets. May you rest in Eternal peace Ann in Heaven surrounded by nature that you loved and cherished so much.

So sorry to hear of Ann's passing & our deepest condolences to the family and friends. I worked with Ann at EU BRU 1998/99 and have some amazing memories from my time there and for the years that followed while traveling in to BRU again. She was Aer Lingus through and through.. whether in Brussels, Zurich, Shannon or even when covering various EI stations in US / Canada many years back - she was thoroughly professional and polished. She was good fun to work with too. May she rest in peace now.
