We were so sorry to learn of Ann's passing. I first met her and Gerry when they were working in Jersey. Over subsequent years we had some lovely family holidays together - which our children have very fond memories of. Ann was always so welcoming and a great hostess. She referred to Frank as a 'bold fellow' due to the fact that he was so cheeky! She will be greatly missed, albeit we weren't in constant contact. I was very saddened to learn of Ann’s passing. Ann helped look after us for a while many years ago when my mother was unwell. I have a picture of her cleaning up in the kitchen on many a summer’s afternoon. She called in many times to visit when she was down visiting her family in Ballindoney. I will always remember her warmth and friendliness on the few occasions we met when we both returned to visit Ballindoney.

Ann was so kind to us growing up as kids, she had the warmest smile that made you feel so welcomed. She was truly a great neighbour and friend to my Dad in difficult times and was so good to him, that was her character. I will forever be grateful for that. He thought the world of her and never missed an opportunity to tell me that.
