Ann , I was so sorry to hear your lovely mam passed away. Her funeral mass was beautiful, and was filled with so much love, and respect , for a amazing woman. Treasure all the wonderful memories, and she will remain with you all forever .May she rest in peace

Reading through the messages it is evident that everyone who knew Nan thought the absolute world of her, she was such a lovable person. Goodhearted, thoughtful, generous, she was a deep thinker and felt things very deeply. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother all of her life and you just had to listen to Nan and be in her company to understand the depth of her love and dedication to her family. Mother Theresa said if you want to change the world go home and love your family and Nan as you would say you loved all of your family from the bottom of your heart and you did change the world as you have touched so many lives through your love and kindness. What a beautiful big family Nan gifted to the world – her son and daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren which I’m sure she would agree is her most precious legacy. Nan stayed true to her roots and never forgot her beloved Keogh Square and her love for her brothers and sisters. To me she was my auntie Nan and anytime I was around her she made me feel like one of her own… that was just her nature. We love you Nan and I know you will keep an eye on all of us.

I'm so sorry to hear of my Aunt Nan's passing. She was so kind and reassuring to me when I was unwell a few years ago. Her words of comfort and prayers meant an awful lot to me.
