Such sad news to hear of Ann’s passing. I got to know her due to our mutual daily commute on the train. Ann helped make the torturous journey much more pleasant with her vivacious smile, spirited wit and abundant number of stories, which taught me a lesson or two. I will always remember the fond memories with Ann and the train gang girls. My thoughts and prayers are with you all as you grieve. RIP ANN

I’m so sad to hear about our beautiful friend Ann.
I will forever cherish the fun times we shared together in Townsville, Australia. I remember Ann’s great friendship and kindness when we came back to the UK and I stayed with her and Tony in Watford, Sinead was just a baby.
The powers of Facebook meant we were able to catch up on many missing years and Ann spoke so proudly about Sinead and Cody and treasured her relationship with her grandson Jamie.
Can’t believe we won’t get another chance to dance on tables together!
Sending my love and special thoughts to family and friends, who she loved dearly x
